Low-Sodium White Fused Alumina refers to white fused alumina with:

Alumina (Al₂O₃) content: 99.30% – 99.99%
Sodium oxide (Na₂O) content: 0.01% – 0.10%

Sodium oxide, as a harmful impurity in white fused alumina, reacts with alumina in the molten state to form β-Al₂O₃, and the amount of β-Al₂O₃ increases with higher Na₂O content.
